Jeanne Dahnke

Jeanne Dahnke, age 93 of Frazee, Minnesota passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the Frazee Care Center. Jeanne was born on March 4, 1919 in Moorhead, Minnesota to Vernon and Julia (Whaley) Terryll. The family later moved to Barnesville, Minnesota. In August of 1950, Jeanne was united in marriage to Victor Dahnke, and of this union they had a daughter, Vicki. They established their home on a farm west of Rothsay, Minnesota, where they lived for many years. Victor died in 1995. Jeanne then moved to Rochert, Minnesota where she lived until moving to the Frazee Care Center in 2010. Jeanne was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed bird watching, cats, baking, and gardening. She had a generous heart and was loved by all who knew her. Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Vicki (Don) Walseth, of Maplewood, Minnesota; two grandchildren, Vern Dahnke of Mulino, Oregon, and Tiffani Walseth, of Maplewood, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Grant Terryll. Funeral Service: 5:00 pm, Saturday, May 19, 2012 in the Dobmeier Funeral Home Chapel in Barnesville, Minnesota. Visitation: Will be one hour prior to the service in the Dobmeier Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Rosemound Cemetery, Barnesville, Minnesota. The Dobmeier Funeral Home of Barnesville is assisting the family with arrangements.
