Alice Most, age 81, resident of Moorhead, MN formerly a resident of Comstock, Minnesota, died on Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Golden LivingCenter in Moorhead. Alice Geneva Landa was born February 23, 1931 in Werner, North Dakota the daughter of Thor and Olga (Melhous) Landa. Alice moved with her family in 1938 to Minnesota. She received her elementary education at district #80 school near Hawley, Minnesota and graduated from Hitterdal High School in 1948. On September 16, 1950 Alice was united in marriage with Morris Most at the Hitterdahl Lutheran Church Parsonage. In 1953 they moved to Comstock. She worked at St. Johns and Dakota Hospital in Fargo retiring in 1989. After her retirement she volunteered at the Dakota Hospital and the Innovis Hospital. She was also involved with Senior Companion program. Morris died on April 30, 1998. In 1999 Alice moved to Moorhead, Minnesota. In March of 2011 she moved to the Golden LivingCenter. Alice was a member of Comstock Lutheran Church and the Lydia circle. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Alice loved spending time her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorials are preferred to Comstock Lutheran Church. Alice is survived by her five children: Morris Buster (Lynn) Most, Rapid City, South Dakota, Rebecca (Fred) Reinfeld, Cortez, Colorado, Barbara (Michael) Hahn, Moorhead, MN, Cynthia (Wesley) Schmidt, Chaffee, North Dakota, Timothy (Carla) Most, Mauston, WI; eleven grandchildren: Jennifer Meier, Monica Most, Wendy Armstrong, Wade Schindler, Nick Pfau, Christopher Pfau, Joseph Morgan, Rachel Morgan, Robert Reinfeld, Lee Most, and Ryan Most; fourteen great-grandchildren: Edward and Caillyn, Gavin and Madison, Nathaniel and Tiffany, Galli and Anakin, Colton and Keelee, Hunter, and Michael, Isabel, and Henry; two brothers: Darvin (Arlene) Landa, Moorhead and Douglas (Lois) Landa, Bloomington, MN; two sisters-in-law: Betty Landa, Wolf Lake and Elaine Landa, Moorhead; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Morris; two brothers: Roy and Arnold. Services: 10:00 a.m. " Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Comstock Lutheran Church, Comstock, Minnesota Visitation: Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Dobmeier Funeral Home, Barnesville, Minnesota. Visitation resumes one hour prior to the service at Comstock Lutheran Church.
