Diana Louise Smith Solom

Diana Solom, 47, of Barnesville, MN, died at her home in Barnesville, on Thursday, January 31, 2013. Diana Louise Solom was born a twin sister with Denise on September 14, 1965, to Bernice Marie Raymond. She was born in Detroit, Michigan. She grew up and attended school in several places including Michigan and Arizona. Diana worked hard in several places throughout her life. She worked in a potato plant, road construction, Cable Company, and others. On September 7, 2007, Diana was married to Richard Solom in Sisseton, SD. They made their home in Barnesville. Richard died July 6, 2008. She has lived with her sister Denise for the last several years. Diana is survived by two sons: Dustin (Tiffany Bachmeier) Anderson, Watford City, ND, Andy (Heidi) Sistad, Moorhead, MN, three grandsons, Weston, Wyatt, Wraef Sistad, Moorhead, MN, her mother Bernice Steers, Tucson, AZ, two sisters Denise Smith, Barnesville, MN, Patti Zeitler, Las Vegas, NV, and nephew Ryan Smith, Barnesville. Diana was preceded in death by her husband Richard, and son Tyler. Private memorial services will be held.
