Gloria Jean Mork

Gloria Jean Mork, age 64, of Barnesville, Minnesota passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 21, 2012 in her home surrounded by family. Gloria was born December 19, 1947 in Barnesville, Minnesota to Adolph Bud Moberg and Gladys Olson. She grew up and attended school in Barnesville. She began working at the Barnesville Care Center when it opened and continued to work there for many years. She retired in June of 2011. She was also her moms (Gladys Moberg) caregiver for a number of years. She married Robert Bob Mork on September 30, 1967 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Barnesville, Minnesota. They lived in Barnesville for most of their married life. Gloria was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Barnesville. She was also a member of the Ladies V.F.W. Auxiliary in Barnesville. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, gardening, and shopping. She is survived by her husband, Robert Mork; One daughter, DeAnne (Shane) Ertelt; Two sons, Dana (Christi) Moberg, and Steve Mork, all of Barnesville, MN; Nine grandchildren, Duane Moberg, Dani (Tim) Koch, Denise Moberg, Melissa Honrud, Mikey Mork, Jimmy Mork, Brittany Moberg, Reed Moberg, and Glori Mork; One great-grandchild, Lexi Moberg; One brother, Rodney (Carol) Moberg of Moorhead, MN; One sister, Sue (Jim) Lindlauf of Grand Forks, ND; And four nephews, Rodney Moberg Jr., Jeremy Moberg both of Moorhead, MN, Jason Moberg of Superior, WI and Carl Lindlauf of Grand Forks, ND. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Memorial Services: A Private memorial service will be held at on, Monday, August 27, 2012 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Barnesville, Minnesota. Burial: Barnesville City Cemetery, Barnesville, Minnesota. Officiating: Pastor Jim Greene Organist: Shelly Holmstrom Soloist: Rosie Carr Honorary Pallbearers: Rodney Moberg and Jim Lindlauf.
