Twila M. Haldorson, 73, of Moorhead, MN, formerly of Barnesville, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, in Eventide Nursing Home. Funeral Services will be Monday, April 28, 2014, at 11 am in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Barnesville, with Pastor Collin Grangaard officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, rural Sabin, MN. Twila Marie Eggiman was born on August 11, 1940, to Herman and Olive (Brendemuhl) Eggiman in Elmwood Township, Clay County, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at the Downer Church. She attended elementary and high school in Barnesville. Twila was united in marriage to James A. Haldorson on January 7, 1958, in Barnesville, MN. She cherished the fun times spent with family, friends, and pets at the lake, initially at her father's cabin on Lake Lizzie and later with her husband Jim, of 47 years, at their home on Little Pelican Lake. She thoroughly enjoyed an amazing Alaskan cruise with her four daughters in July of 2011. She is survived by four daughters: Tamra (Steve) Hoppe of rural Sabin, Trinda (Randy) Braton of rural Barnesville, Angela (Greg) Ferch of Boise, ID and SiDonna Smithwick of Moorhead, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren: Troy (Michelle) Hoppe and their children Coryn and Ethan of Barnesville, Torie (Penny) Hoppe and their daughters Bria and Ashlyn of Fargo, ND, Cory (Felicia) Braton and their children Ava and Chase of Sioux Falls, SD, Jayson Braton of West Fargo, ND, Mici (Matt Quirk) Braton and their son Collin of Moorhead, and Taylor Smithwick of Moorhead, sister Mary (Tom) Krabbenhoft of Detroit Lakes, MN, sister in law Mavis Eggiman of Fargo, and niece and nephews, and her beloved cat Chloe. Twila was preceded in death by her parents, husband James in 2005, brothers Wally and Larry Eggiman, nephews Chad Krabbenhoft and Troy Eggiman, great granddaughters Kylie Braton and Madisyn Braton.
