Whitney Marie Wheelright

Whitney Marie Wheelright, 21, of Fergus Falls, died in her sleep on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 30, 2014, at St. James United Church of Christ in Barnesville, MN with Pastor Darwin Soyring officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM, Pietre Cemetery, Ada, MN. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM, Friday, August 29, 2014 at St. James United Church of Christ with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Whitney Wheelright was born on December 19, 1992 to Kevin Don (Wheelright) Hines and Lori Ann (Sorenson) Wheelright in Albert Lea, MN. She was baptized at St. James Church in Barnesville. She grew up in Moorhead for a few years before moving to Perham where she attended school from 2nd grade on. She just finished school in May of 2014. She was a loving girl, who liked to hug everyone. Whitney enjoyed fishing, bowling, swimming, and boating. She always wanted to go somewhere and have fun, and didn't like anyone to be sad. She had a love for cheeseburgers, fries and a Coke. Whitney carried around many things with her that she treasured including her pictures of her brother Kodey and sister Kiara, swimsuit, magazines, and newspaper pictures. Whitney is survived by her dad Kevin (Kim) Hines, Detroit Lakes, MN, mother Lori (fiancée Todd Langston) Wheelright, Fergus Falls, brother Kodey Wheelright, Perham, MN, Kiara Rae Wheelright, Fergus Falls, grandparents Dar (DuWayne) Hines, Barnesville, MN, Viola Sorenson, Moorhead, MN, 8 step brothers and sisters, several aunts and uncles. Whitney was preceded in death by her grandpa Burton Sorenson.
