Robert L. LeNoue, 82, of Barnesville, MN died after a brief battle with cancer on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Valley Care and Rehab in Barnesville.   Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Assumption Catholic Church with Father Gary LaMoine presiding. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Barnesville.   Visitation will be held 5-8 PM, Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Dobmeier Funeral Home, Barnesville, with a Prayer Service at 7 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the mass at the church.   Robert Leslie LeNoue was born in Los Angeles, California on January 24, 1934 to Urban Joseph and Esther Olive (Thomson) LeNoue. He lived in Los Angeles until 1943. In 1952 he graduated from Franklin High School in Los Angeles. On October 12, 1952 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He served in the Far East, Korea, Japan and Hawaii. While serving in the U.S. Navy he attended school in Washington D.C. for Fire Control Technician. He was then deployed again to the Far East. He was honorably discharged on October 10, 1956 in San Francisco, CA. He went to work for North American Aviation in Inglewood, CA until 1970.   Robert was united in marriage to Doris Stetz on June 27, 1957 at the Assumption Catholic Church. They left for California shortly after their wedding. They lived in Westchester, Downey, Garden Grove and Anaheim, CA. On April 11, 1970 they started their journey back to Minnesota with a 20 foot U-Haul truck pulling an 8 foot trailer with Doris and the children following in their Olds station wagon. After 19 years, Robert retired from Super Valu warehouse in May of 1997.   Robert and Doris enjoyed traveling to Hawaii for their annual vacations. He also enjoyed reading, especially World War II history.   Robert is survived by his wife Doris of Barnesville; three sons: Robert (Mary) of Fargo, ND; Craig (Shari) of Barnesville; and Kenny (Brenda) of Fargo; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and one sister, Linda Easley of Ashland, MO.   He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Janet Lass; a granddaughter Brianna LeNoue; a great-granddaughter Aubrie Johnson; and 2 sisters: Marie Pelland and Joyce Rabon.   Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.dobmeierfuneralhome.com     PALLBEARERS: Nick, Dana, Mark, Ryan, Lynn, Jonah, Austin LeNoue and Riley Lass HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Lindsay Johnson, Brandie Kading, Kelcey Burgstahler, Bailee Lass, and Danielle LeNoue
