Barbara Barry, 65, passed away in Fargo, ND on January 30, 2019.

Memorial services will be on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Dobmeier Funeral Home, Barnesville, MN, with Father Gary LaMoine presiding. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Memorial service from 6 to 7 PM.

Barbara Anne Barry was born in Moorhead, MN, on March 3, 1953 to Neil and Joann (Gantzer) Barry. Barbara grew up in Barnesville, MN, graduating from Barnesville High School in 1971. As an artist of many beautiful drawings; she attended Minnesota State Technical College in the Graphic Arts program. Her talents were also shown in the beautiful knitting, needle point and afghans she made and paintings of Old John Deere equipment. Barbara worked for many years as a graphic artist. She also worked several years at the Barnesville Record Review and she would help her sister-in-law, Darcy with the daycare.

Barbara was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved cats and caring for strays. Barbara had her struggles in life with addictions and depression.

Barbara is survived by her mom, Joann; her siblings, Steven (Darcy) Barry and Mary Barry, all of Barnesville, Kevin of St. Cloud, MN, and Kent (Janelle) of Barnesville. She is also survived by 7 nephews and 1 niece and 7 great nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her father, Neil and an older brother, Patrick.

In lieu of flowers donations are preferred to Cat’s Cradle.
