Clara “Tootsie” Holland, age 80, of Barnesville, Minnesota, died on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 , at her home in Barnesville, Minnesota with her loving family by her side.    Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Assumption Catholic Church in Barnesville with Father Gary LaMoine presiding.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Barnesville.    Visitation will be 5-8 PM, Monday, April 2, at Dobmeier Funeral Home, Barnesville, MN with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM.  Visitation will continue for one hour prior to Mass.    Clara Virginia Nosal was born on October 19, 1937 to Joseph “Joe” and Mary (Setlock) Nosal, on the family farm in Alliance Township of Clay County, Minnesota. Clara was raised and worked on the family farm with her sisters and parents.  She attended Assumption Catholic School and graduated from Barnesville High School in 1957.  She worked at St. John’s Hospital in Fargo for four years.  On November 5, 1960 she was united in marriage to Milton L. Holland at Assumption Catholic Church.  In 1972, they moved to Davenport where they owned the Silver Dollar Supper Club until 1980. Then Milton and Tootsie moved to Barnesville where they bought a farm and started raising livestock. She then worked at American Crystal Sugar for 18 years.  In 1995, they moved into town in the house they built.    Tootsie was musical and she could play the organ, piano, and guitar.  Throughout her life she was in a band, and was known as the Metronome’s.  She also enjoyed sewing, embroidery, and bead work.  She had a love for baby animals.  She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and St. Anne’s Guild, the VFW Auxiliary.    Tootsie is survived by her sisters, Josie Lamb, Lucy Mosca, Mary Mathison, Tina (Loren) Garrison and sisters-in-law Dorothy Holland and Joy Rheault.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.    She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Milton in 2013, and four sisters Cecilia Holland, Anne Lammers, Leona Peterson, Amelia Nosal, and one brother Michael Nosal.    Tootsie 's Memorial Folder
