Isaac Alexander Schultz

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Isaac Alexander Schultz, 28, of Fergus Falls, MN on Sunday, January 28, 2024, from a car accident.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 pm at Dobmeier Funeral Home in Barnesville, MN, with a time of Remembrance at 4:00 pm.

Isaac was born on February 24, 1995, to Scott & Kindra Schultz. Isaac spent his childhood in Barnesville, MN, moving to Fargo, ND, to attend high school. He graduated in 2013 and then attended Minnesota State Community College. While attending college, Isaac took special interest in philosophy.

As a young child, Isaac was a connoisseur of all things dinosaur which continued into his adult life and was one of the biggest fans of Godzilla. Isaac had a compassion and tenderness for animals and a special love for his border collie, Marx. He was born with a caring heart and a gentle soul, who was honest and freely spoke how he felt. Isaac had an acute understanding and embraced the disadvantaged. He had a heart for all. 

 A gifted artist, Isaac was blessed with a talent for intricate drawings. He aspired to be an artist for musical albums. Isaac had an eclectic taste in music favoring heavy metal and underground bands. He shared this interest and musical knowledge with followers of his podcast. Isaac also had a deep interest in the political arena sharing that on his podcast and with anyone else that would listen. Isaac walked in life with an often punctuated quirky sense of humor. He bestowed nicknames on those close to him, lovingly calling his brother Jack, “Kid” and referring to his cousins as being “Little Turkeys.” 

Isaac left us too early and in his short 28 years, he taught us to be kind and loving to those around us, to walk to the beat of your own drum, to speak your truth and to not allow others to stifle your authenticity.

Isaac is survived by his parents: Kindra Larsen (Steve Dallmann), Barnesville, MN, and Scott Schultz, Fargo, ND; brother Jack Schultz, Fargo, ND; Kari Dallmann, Andrea Schlobohm, his “Beloved Nana” Cheryl Stepka-Tracey; his border collie Marx; Uncles and Aunts: David Larsen, Jolene Oldsberg, Teresa (Jeff) Brenke, Robb (Shawn) Larsen, Myles Saigh, Bridget Larsen, and Jacob (Linzi) Larsen, along with 14 cousins.

 He was preceded in death by his grandparents: “Grandpa Bob” Larsen, and “Papa Jay” Tracey; Lester & Betty Schultz, and Uncle Stuart Schultz.
