Liselotte Antczak

September 17, 1931 — December 6, 2025

Fargo, ND, formerly of Barnesville, MN

Liselotte “Lilo” Antczak, 94, passed away on December 6, 2025, at Edgewood Vista Memory Care in Fargo, North Dakota. She was born on September 17, 1931, in Hanau, Germany, the eldest of four daughters to Waldemr and Kathinka Gutt.

Lilo moved to the United States in her early twenties, proudly becoming a U.S. citizen soon after; even though she longed for Germany. She made her final home in Barnesville, Minnesota, where she lived for 48 years. Throughout her life, she faced many challenges and tragedies, each contributing to the strong, resilient, frugal but generous woman she became.

She enjoyed the comfort of her home—reading mystery novels, watching politics, world news, and following many of her favorite television shows. She also enjoyed listening to music from Nat King Cole, Aretha Franklin and Elvis. Known for speaking her mind, Lilo was straightforward and honest.

She is survived by her children Allen (Betty) Antczak of Vidalia, Louisiana and Tracy (Robert) Olson of Montgomery, Texas; four grandchildren: Sarah, Chelsea, Devin, and Corbin; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Brigitte (Lyle) Miller of Barnesville, Minnesota, and Rosi (Manfred) Greschner of Hanau, Germany, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son Michael, her sister Christa Appel, and her parents.

A small gathering to honor Lilo’s life will be held at Dobmeier Funeral Home on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:30 am.

Her family will remember her as a woman of strength and resilience.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be given to St. Judes.
