Rosanna Mae Gardner

Rosanna Mae Gardner, 87, of Downer, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

A celebration of her life will be held on September 13th with an open house visitation from 9am-11am, at Dobmeier Funeral Home in Barnesville, MN. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.

Rosanna spent the majority of her life in Downer, where she built a beautiful life with her late husband, Dale. Together, they raised three children—Dean, Wanda, and Roxanne—and shared countless memories working side-by-side, including many years traveling the road for work. She was known for her tender, caring heart and her infectious laugh that could brighten any room. Rosanna found her greatest joy in her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She is survived by her children: Dean, Wanda, and Roxanne (Jeff); her 13 cherished grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and all those blessed to have known her.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Francis and Vivian Roesch; husband Dale; grandson Little Pat; sisters: Mary and Vivian; Brothers: Michael and Harold.

Rosanna’s love, warmth, and laughter will forever echo in the hearts of her family and friends.
